Living Proof participated in a NEW Africa salon coordinated by the MPULE Institute for Endogenous Development, a New York City-based advocacy and public policy think tank that champions agriculture-led development, inclusive green growth, gender equality, women’s and youth empowerment, and sustainable development pathways in Africa. The salon brought together young female leaders of Ghana, Zambia, Kenya, Botswana, South African and Sierra Leone from the public health, media and agriculture sectors to plan concrete steps towards creating stronger social entrepreneurial ecosystems. Living Proof is partnering with the Network of Women Investing in Africa Leadership Program to explore opportunities for collaboration on a multi-stakeholder initiative to empower the next generation of African female leaders aged 18-35 through innovative education and entrepreneurial solutions that address pressing social challenges facing the continent. NEW Africa Leadership Program is a Commitment to Action announced at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI).
