Karuna Bhavan Social Centre

Living Proof recently visited the Karuna Bhavan Social Centre where Nuns house, rehabilitate, and provide jobs for the disabled girls and elderly woman. This amazing team of young woman create high quality women’s under garments for top Indian Brands. They tell us they use their pay to buy consumables, personal gifts and save. They also support a home for the elderly. Living Proof Visits Andhyodaya

Living Proof returned to the offices of Andhyodaya to continue our 7 year partnership in water, sanitation and renewable energy solutions. Over the years, we’ve conducted exchanges, techinical evaluations, consultancy services and projects in India, Brasil and Africa. Andhyodaya Founder and LP board member Peter Thettayil has played an essential role in expanding the LP Asia-Africa partnership. Partnership with ICRISAT

Living Proof recently visited the International Crops and Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics to establish a partnership to find markets for their value added products. the aim is to address food security needs in the developing world and also integrate their products in supply chains of grocery stores globally.

First Wave Scholarship

Living Proof joined Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, MC Lyte, and the Hip Hop Sisters Foundation on the red carpet at the 2012 Soul Train Awards to present the two inaugural $100,000 First Wave Scholarships. The scholars will begin their studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013.

Living Proof, in partnership with Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, was honored to join MC Lyte and the Hip Hop Sisters Foundation on the Red Carpet at the 2012 Soul Train Awards. The Hip Hop Sisters Foundation presented two $100,000 First Wave Scholarships to young female artists and scholars who will begin their studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013.

We congratulate the students for being living proof that ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary feats!
